Boise State 14-0 defeated TCU to win the Fiesta Bowl and in our view a share of the National Championship. As it will share its status as the remaining undefeated division I school along with the Texas Alabama winner. Boise State's record includes wins over Rose Bowl runner up and Pac 10 Champion Oregon and a record over the past few years any Division I program would envy.

Boise State came to national attention with its thrilling 2007 Fiesta Bowl win over Oklahoma also going undefeated. In this year's Fiesta Bowl Boise State and TCU featured strong defensive performances. Boise State known for its trick plays changed the nature of the game with a fake punt that moved Boise State into scoring position.

The case for Boise State is clear. They are only the second team in NCAA history to go 14-0. They are once again a remaining undefeated school. They should get a share of the football national championship. The only question is why does the BCS system remain?
