In the main event of UFC 116 Lesnar vs Carwin Brock Lesnar survived a brutal first round by Shane Carwin and winning by second round submission maintaining the UFC undisputed heavyweight championship. The match was shown live on pay per view and through various live stream broadcast free that UFC would probably not appreciate. Brock was in major trouble in the first round. At any moment it seemed that the ref could have called it. Carwin hit Lesnar with an upper cut that sent him reeling. Carwin capitalized getting Lesnar on his back and started a brutal assault. The crowd was in a fury. However Lesnar survived towards the end of the first round Lesnar managed to get to his feet and held on to survive the round.

In between rounds Carwin looked like he punched himself out. As the second round began Carwin missed badly with a punch. As the fighters squared off Lesnar got Carwin to the ground. In trouble Carwin tried to fight off Lesnar. But Lesnar locked on an arm bar choke. Carwin tapped out. Its over. Lesnar remains champion.

After the win Brock was humble thanked his family, friends, and training partner. Lesnar went through a difficult year coming back to the Octagon after fighting mononucleosis and diverticulitis. He's back now. Hate it or love it he's the baddest man in the UFC.
