As the environmental disastrous oil spill in the gulf continues one can watch a live feed of the oil spill at http://globalwarming.house.gov/spillcam or click here. BP still does not have the spill under control and many experts think that more oil is spilling than previously thought.

The spill started with an oil well blowout on April 20, 2010 which caused an explosion on the Deepwater Horizon offshore oil drilling platform. Eleven platform workers were killed. The oil originates from a deepwater oil well 5,000 feet below the ocean surface which has made it difficult to stop the oil. Perhaps if you can not stop oil from 5000 feet below the ocean perhaps they should not be alllowed to drill 5000 feet below the ocean.

BP is responsible for all cleanup costs resulting from the oil spill in what may in the end be the worst environmental disaster in US history.
