Whose Done After Two Weeks NFL Week 2 Scores and Analysis

Ok so the title is just a teaser no one is really done after week 2 in the NFL. Remember last year the Titans started 0-6 and finished 8-8 after strong play by quarterback Vince Young. Speaking of Vinny he was benched in the second half by the Titans in favor of Kerry Collins who too had no answer for the revamped recharged remember us we won the Super Bowl two seasons ago Steelers. The Steelers won there second straight without the suspended Ben Roethlisberger.

The Dallas Cowboys are off to a slow start going to 0-2 after to falling to the Chicago Bears in their home opener which is also the site of Super Bowl XLV. The way the Cowboys looked yesterday they will not be the first team to play at home at the Super Bowl. Romo looked strong throwing for 374 yards and a touchdown but Cutler through for 3 touchdowns and the Bears won 27-20. Next week gets not easier for the Cowboys who play there intrastate rival the Houston Texans.

Speaking of the Texans they were in perhaps the game of the day winning in overtime over the also revamped Donovan McNabb led Washington Redskins. McNabb was sharp going 28 of 38 for 426 yards and a touchdown taking the Redskins to a 27-10 lead early in the third quarter before Matt Schaub led the Texans back. Schaub throwing for 497 yards tied the game with 2 minutes left. In overtime it appeared the Redskins had won with a 52 yard kick but a timeout was called right before the snap. On the ensuing kick the Skins missed. Left with good field position the Texans moved the ball down the field and kicked the winning field goal.

In other notable games the Jets beat the Patriots, the Michael Vick led Eagles defeated Detroit, Cincinnati defeated Baltimore and the Colts defeated the Giants 38-14. The strangest moment came when Giants running back Brandon Jacobs lost his helmet in the crowd. He allegedly throuh his helmet angry at his lack of playing time and it slipped out of his hands landing in the stands. Colts security had to pry the helmet away from the fan who thought he had a souvenir.
