Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo was injured Monday night in the Cowboys primetime game versus division rival New York Giants. Late in the second quarter Giants’ linebacker Michael Boley sacked Romo on a clean hit. Romo stayed down in obvious pain. The X-ray results revealed he had a clavicle fracture. Romo is likely done for the season. John Kitna took over and was ineffective for most of the second half. The Cowboys launched a late run at the end of the game but the game was never in doubt as the Giants would win 41-35.

Even before the injury the now 1-5 Cowboys were in trouble. The season got off to a difficult start losing a couple of games they should have won and faced with a daunting schedule with teams that vastly improved over the last season. We here were scoffed at a few weeks ago when we stated When Will The Cowboys Win that they were in trouble. They were only 0-2 but we knew the caliber of opponents they would be up against.

Its hard to believe that still only six games in and lots of football to play America's team finds itself in the company of the Detroit Lions, Carolina Panthers and the San Francisco 49ers as being one win teams in the NFC.
