The 2014 Superbowl was awarded to the New York/New Jersey Meadowlands stadium. Making it the first time a Super Bowl will be played in the New York New Jersey area. And with the Super Bowl being played in February it is likely be one of the coldest Super Bowls ever played for the players and especially the fans in the stands. The only thing that would be better at least for Giants and Jets fans is for the two teams to meet in the Super Bowl in the very stadium that they share.

Super Bowls are an economic engine for the host cities involved and will surely be an economic boom for North Jersey and New York City. Miami and Tampa were the other cities bidding to host America's largest sporting event. Next year's Super Bowl will be played in the stadium that Jerry built in Dallas.
