The UFC 121 was live from Honda Center in Anaheim, CA and featured the top draw, the top dog in MMA Brock Lesnar live on pay per view or live stream. Always a great event to watch on a Saturday Night the UFC 121 fight card featured matches included Brendan Schaub vs. Gabriel Gonzaga, Tito Ortiz vs. Matt Hamill, Diego Sanchez vs. Paulo Thiago, Jake Shields vs. Martin Kampmann and Brock Lesnar vs. Cain Velasquez.

Highlights of the bouts include an impressive Brendan Schaub winning in a unanimous decision in a heavyweight bought. Schaub dominated through strong boxing skills, catching Gonzaga several times in an exciting first round. Schaub simply beat Gonzaga to the punch several times. Tito Ortiz and Matt Hamill fought in a great MMA battle. Hamill defeating the legend Tito Ortiz and his former coach in a unanimous decision. UFC season two winner Diego Sanchez took on Paulo Thiago in another awesome match with Sanchez throwing Thiago to the ground at one point during the second round. Sanchez dominated the second half of the match including dropping heavy punches while on top as the match came to an end winning in a unanimous decision. Jake Shields won in his UFC debut in a split decision over Martin Kampmann.

In the main event Brock Lesnar the baddest man on the planet took on an unbeaten Cain Velasquez seeking to become the first Mexican heavyweight champion. Cain Velasquez dominated the first and only round withstanding a quick take down attempt by Brock and countering Brock catching him and taking him down. Once getting Brock on his back he got him with hard punches. Brock unable to defend himself the ref called it in the first round. Cain Velasquez the new world heavyweight champion.
