James Harden has the strongest case for MVP of this years NBA regular season. Harden is averaging 30 points and dishing out 8 assist per night and leading the Houston Rockets to the NBA’s best record, 60 wins and counting, thus far. After missing out on the MVP last year due to Russell Westbrook’s historic averaging of a triple double, Harden feels like the consensus MVP.

LeBron. What can we say? He is simply the best player on the planet Earth and has been ballin out this entire year. Through a changing Cleveland line up including Kyrie leaving, bad chemistry early in the season, trades, and the Coach’s health, LeBron has been consistently awesome. He may by desire and unmatched skill lead the Cavs to another Finals appearance. LeBron is averaging 27 and 9 if you were wondering.

Since the All Star break Anthony Davis has been on a tear. He’s had a 53 point 18 reboud 5 block game, he’s had a triple double with BLOCKS. Dropping 25 points 11 rebounds and 10 assist against the Jazz back in early March. If it wasn’t for the season Harden and LeBron are having Davis would have a strong MVP case.

The man known as the Greek freak Giannis Antetokounmpo, although he’s averaging 27 points in only his fourth season, he’s not quite at the Davis, Harden and LeBron level but you can see him getting their very very fast.

We have to also mention the season Damian Lillard is having and he too deserves MVP votes. Portland is one of the hottest teams since the All Star break and Lillard has been clutch. As of this post, the Trailblazers sit at third in the West. He and his team will make noise in the playoffs. We are predicting they are gonna knockout someone no one expected in the playoffs, maybe even the reigning defending but injured champions the Golden State Warriors.
