Spike Lee dressed decked out in purple to honor Prince, and sporting some gold Jordan’s finally won an Academy Award. The great filmmaker won for Best Adapted Screenplay for his work BlacKkKlansman. He dedicated his win with a plea for America to be on the right side of history and to “Do The Right Thing” in 2020. He also noted that the first slaves landed in America in 1619, 400 years ago:
