With major signings like Jovic and Eden Hazard, Zinedine Zidane looks to execute his plan of building a strong team.

Although last season for Real Madrid was a disappointing with the return of Zidane as their coach adding continutity it seems highly likely that they are going to comeback stronger. Zidane was a tactical player in his football career and has proved to be a successful manager.

But,  it seems like he can’t seem to work his magic yet. He has been focusing on the attacking side of this team by buying Jovic and arguably the best player in England; Eden Hazard. His continuous efforts to develop Benzema into a lethal striker are failing and there is nothing Modric or Kroos can seem to do about it.

Recent Games

Pre-season friendlies have not been kind to Real Madrid owing to their big-time 3-7 loss against their rivals Atletico Madrid. Not only this, but losing to Bayern Munich and not to mention barely making it through on penalties against Arsenal, must have shattered their confidence.

Zinedine Zidane has sufficient depth in Real Madrid’s midfield with the 2018 Ballon d’or winner Luka Modric along with World Cup winner Toni Kroos. There is no doubt they are going to be dominant in the midfield.

Though, we wonder why Real Madrid hasn’t been able to score as frequently as they should be able to.

La Liga 2019-20

Just a few days to go before we head into the La Liga season 2019-20

Let’s just hope Zidane figures out exactly what he needs to bring back the club to its glory days. These Spanish giants have never been a mediocre side and it is surely not going to be the first time for it. With defense like Sergio Ramos and Raphael Varane at the back, we don’t see any team getting past them.

Yes, there was turbulence during the pre-season matches but they are called pre-season friendlies for a season, right?

Real Madrid’s biggest rivals Barcelona have upgraded their attack with the latest addition to their club; Antoine Griezmann. Once again, el-classico is going to make headlines once these titans clash in the season.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s Departure

One of the biggest losses that Real Madrid have faced and can’t seem to replace is departure of their phenomenal player Cristiano Ronaldo.

Yes, we know that Florentino Perez doesn’t appear to be caring much about it but the aftermath is quite prominent. They haven’t been to able to find the right replacement for the goal-scoring machine that they have lost.

After a season long wait, Eden Hazard has finally stepped-in to fill in Cristiano’s shoe but after seeing the past results of pre-season friendlies, it is getting harder to say the most.

Upsets are a part of the game, especially when it comes to football as a sport. You never know which way the match is going to go. So, let’s just hope Gareth Bale gets the chance he deserves and partners with Eden Hazard on the flanks to give Real Madrid’s attack the boost it needs to win La Liga title.
